5-day film competition


We were asked to raise awareness of a five-day film challenge for residents in Liverpool which gave them chance to see their movies screened at the ECHO Arena and FACT [Foundation for Art and Creative Technology] - the UK’s leading media arts centre.

Judging focused on originality, innovation and interpretation of the brief instead of budgets, equipment or technical skills so even people with just a camera or a mobile could shoot films and stand a chance of winning.

Twitter was used to announce the theme and unique elements that had to be included such as a famous line or prop from a movie.

The film with the most ‘likes’ on YouTube won a special ‘People’s Award’.
